LAGs in Croatia

The intention of this web-section is to promote communication, exchange and collaboration as well as to stimulate development initiatives in Croatian rural areas.

22 Croatian LAGs in brief:

  • LAGs are registered as associations (civil society association, NGO);

  • they encompass 159 local self-government units (28,6 % of total number) including 32 small towns, rural part of a larger town territory (Sisak), rural part od town Petrinja and 126 municipalities;

  • LAGs are situated within the territory of 13 counties, a few belonging to more than one county;
