Modification of IPARD –Agriculture and Rural Development Plan, after the encounter of Croatian LAGs with the representatives of the European Commission / DG AGRI
At the beginning of December 2011 a group of members of the Croatian Rural Development Network – HMRR, consisting mainly of LAG and future LAG members, took part at a 5-day study tour to Brussels and rural Holland. The tour was organised by ODRAZ and HMRR in collaboration with the Paul Kosterink, representing the Dutch project partner, within the project "Together for sustainable development in Croatia".
Round tables on rural development
In mid November 2011 two round tables were organise to present and discuss actual situation regarding the implementation of LEADER approach in Croatia – in Skrad for rural stakholders from South and West Croatia, and in Osijek for those from the continental part.

ELARD Membership
At the Council Meeting of ELARD - European LEADER Association for Rural Development held on 14 June 2011 the members voted unanimously in favor of the Croatian Rural Development Network’s membership to ELARD. HMRR has a status of observer in duration of one year and is represented in ELARD by Tomislav Panenić from TINTL.
New Board
At the Annual General meeting held in Zagreb on 20 April 2011 the new Board has been elacted for the next two-year period: Draga Bitar, LAG PRIZAG; Ivan Doboš, LAG Baranja; Višnja Jelić Műck, ODRAZ; Mario Protulipac, CCI / LAG Petrova Gora; Sonja Vuković, SLAP
Višnja Jelić Mück was reelected for president. The only employee is coordinator Marina Koprivnjak.
The Prepare Gathering 2009
Croatian and Slovenian rural development networks were hosts and co-organizers of the international PREPARE event 2009. PREPARE – Pre-accession Partnerships for Rural Europe
