LAG Petrova Gora

Local action group Petrova gora was registered as an association in April 2010, after years of partnership activities of stakeholders of four municipalities of Karlovačka and Sisačko-moslavačka County through the Regional Council of citizens. Founders of LAG Petrova Gora are Barilović, Gvozd, Krnjak, Vojnić  and Topusko Municipalities, Centre for Civil Initiatives along with 18 individuals, representatives of all three sectors.

LAG Petrova Gora is located in Kordun and partly on Banovna. Borders with Bosnia where the partnership initiative started with neighbouring municipalities and LAG Una - Sana regarding the development of rural tourism. Through LAG Petrova gora, efforts will be made to improve valuable natural features of region (thermal springs, rich excursion and hunting at Petrova gora, beauty of Korana river, ancient monuments, medieval history and anti-fascist movement in Croatia).

The objective of the LAG is to take advantage of area - open itself to tourists and visitors and to empower local community, primarily in the economic and social terms.

Head office of LAG Petrova Gora is in King Petra Svačića street 4 in Gvozd. President is Branko Jovičić, mayor of Gvozd Municipality.
